You can log onto Matrix by following instructions on the wiki. You can chat with other users and members of the Thunderbird team on the thunderbird channel on Mozilla’s Matrix chat server. But, I would expect some flakiness as there are still some occasions where I have gotten failed connections and the same "Please try again later" message that I was getting before I created the key. Remember to be courteous, as most of the people providing support on this site are volunteers and fellow Thunderbird users like you Live Chat on Matrix.
